| A mains transformer for high power valve circuits such as audio power amplifiers with twin 0-115V primary windings, and separate single-ended HT and centre-tapped heater secondaries.The transformer is intended for mounting on top of a chassis where one side of the former, carrying all primary and secondary connections, passes through a rectangular cutout, and the top side of the former is shielded by a steel top cover. The core therefore seats flat on the chassis and 4 x M5 mounting hardware is included. Due to the heavy gauge of wire used, the heater secondaries are not terminated at solder tags. Supplies both channels (stereo) for light domestic use. For continuous heavy duty use, one channel per transformer (monoblock) is advised. |
